I want to create a backupset but it keeps asking me for credentials

Problem

You are trying to create a new backupset but it keeps asking for the login credentials on the last step while you don't have credentials resulting in the backupset not being created.

Solution

When you use the quickselect options during the creation of the backupset it is mandatory to enter the users credentials.
Or when you select a network location. From version 8.3.4.0 it is possible to fill in separate credentials for a network resource.

If it is not a network location, the problem is easily solved by not using the quickselect options when creating the backup set.
