Backup Interrupted by System Error "Cannot get remote file list"

Cause

The backup retrieves a file list from the server and compares it with the local files.
If the file list cannot be retrieved, you will see this message.

Solution

This can happen if there is a network interruption or if a firewall is blocking data.
Install the latest backup software. This has often been improved and works better with the backup server.
