No *tmp.log found for database

Cause

This error occurs when making an Exchange 2010 backup of the type full with circular logging enabled.
The cleanup of the logs files is failing.

Solution

This error can be cirumvented by disabling 'circulair logging' on all Exchange databases.
The option 'circular logging' can be found under the properties of the database on the second tab 'maintenance'

After changing this option a restart of the 'Microsoft Exchange information store' is required.
