File 'Guid' not found for exchange database 'SBS\Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group\Mailbox Store'

Ursache

This means dat the Guid-file is missing from the online backup or corrupt.
This can be caused by two backups tasks running simultaneously causing overlap.
Example: A new backup starts when the old one has yet to finish uploading.

Lösung

  • Schedule the database backups with enough time between them so they don't overlap.
  • Change the backup schedule and check the box 'Skip backup when backup is still active'. (post 6.7.0.0)
  • Uncheck the option 'Run this backup on this machine' option at the backup schedule and save the settings.
    Start a manual database backup of the Exhange-set.
    After this backup has completed don't forget to re-check the 'Run on the machine' option and saving the settings.
    This will upload the guid file without being interrupted by the scheduled backup task.
