Restoring the local copy fails.
It's impossible to select a backupset to restore data from

Ursache

You are trying to restore data on another computer and have not selected the correct folder so the software can see the sets.
You are trying to restore a local copy trough the "Restore" button

Lösung

The "Backup" and "Restore" buttons in the main window are for the online section of the backup

1. Same computer ()

In case you are trying to restore data on the same computer as the one that made the original local copy you need to use the "Decrypt Local Copy Wizard" and not the big "Restore" button, which is the middle of the 5 icons on the bottom left of the main window.

This wizard will use the settings which where used to create the local copy to restore the data making the process easier for you.

2. Different computer ()
In case the original computer can no longer be used the "Decrypt Files Wizard" is needed to specify where the local copy is located so you can restore the data. This can also be a USB disk or a network location.

The default structure of the local copy is [backup server address]\[login name]\files\[sets]
e.g.: E:\LocalCopy\backup01.mindtime.nl\backup_demo\files\1430210537953

When the wizard asks where the local copy is located the files directory needs to be selected (not opened, just selected) so the chosen path will look like this example:
E:\LocalCopy\backup01.mindtime.nl\backup_demo\files

When you select next a overview of the backupsets should appear from which you can restore data, after selecting the set and continuing you should get the same screen as the online restoration where you can select from when what data should be restored.


Remark:
De default rule like with creating the backup is: In case you can access it in Windows, our software can also access it. So when you are restoring data from a network location it needs to be visible in the network environment otherwise you need to create a temporary network mapping so our software can access the data.
